92 year old Fairfield resident, Jennie M. Bailey passed away at her residence on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Jennie was born on October 8, 1932 to William and Louise (Newton) Hollinger. Jennie married Walter "Pat" Bailey on November 8, 1949 in Fairfield, Illinois. They celebrated 74 years of marriage before his passing on February 20, 2024.
Jennie is survived by 4 children; Phillip Bailey of Fairfield, Walter D. Bailey, Jr., of Carbondale, Janice (Ed) Dees of Fairfield and Patricia (Ed) Hoke of Carbondale, IL. 2 brothers; James and Richard Hollinger. 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter – Carol and 1 grand daughter – Ora Wheeler.
Funeral services for Jennie M. Bailey will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to service time at Nale's Funeral Home in Fairfield.
